Ways to Help
All Arizona Camp Sunrise & Sidekicks programs are provided free of charge thanks to the generosity of people like you. We rely heavily on the monetary and in-kind contributions of individuals and organizations within the community.
We accept all kinds of donations: monetary, art supplies, camping equipment, sporting goods, food, paper goods, toiletries, computer and electronics equipment, expertise and just about anything else. If you would like to make a donation, please contact us and we can provide the necessary information for you.
Arizona Camp Sunrise & Sidekicks are operated by the Southwest Kids’ Cancer Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing positive experiences for kids affected by cancer and their families. All contributions are tax deductible.
It takes a small, dedicated army (lovingly referred to as our “Campily”) to operate AZ Camp Sunrise and Sidekicks every year. It is the passion and commitment of our all-volunteer staff that has made our programs so distinctive and so highly regarded.
To operate our programs, we need volunteers from a variety of backgrounds and with a variety of interests and experiences. We certainly need counselors, but we also need a large variety of other volunteers as well.
Do you ever shop online at Amazon? Now you can support Arizona Camp Sunrise & Sidekicks at the same time! All you have to do is link your existing Amazon account to Southwest Kids’ Cancer Foundation, and Amazon will donate .5% of every order you make to AZ Camp Sunrise.
Here’s how to get started:
1. Visit smile.amazon.com and sign in with your existing Amazon account (or create one if you don’t have one).
2. In the Charitable Organization search box, type Southwest Kids’ Cancer Foundation, hit Enter, and select SWKCF as your charity of choice.
3. Whenever you shop at Amazon, make sure you get there via to smile.amazon.com. Your purchase will not count if you simply go to amazon.com. We recommend you change your bookmarks, and get in the habit of typing smile.amazon.com anytime you visit Amazon!
Do you shop for groceries at Fry’s Food Stores? Now you can support the Southwest Kids’ Cancer Foundation and Arizona Camp Sunrise and Sidekicks just by going about your normal routine!
Follow these easy steps to link your Fry’s VIP card to your favorite childhood cancer organization, and proceeds from every shopping trip will be donated directly to SWKCF.
STEP 1: Creating an Online Fry’s Account
**NOTE: If you already have an online Fry’s account, skip to #2
*Go to www.FrysCommunityRewards.
*Select ‘Create an Account’.
*Under Sign-In information, enter your email and create a password. (Write down your email & password—will need it in step 2)
*Select ‘Use Card Number’.
*Enter your Fry’s V.I.P Card Number, last name and postal code.
*Under ‘Select Your Preferred Store’ enter your postal code.
*Select ‘Find Stores’.
*Choose your store then select ‘Create Account’.
*You will then be prompted to check your email for a confirmation email.
Click the hyperlink in your email to finish creating your Online Fry’s Account.
*Continue to step #2 to register for the Fry’s Community Rewards Program of your choice.
STEP 2: Register for the Fry’s Community Rewards Program
*Go to www.FrysCommunityRewards.com
*Enter your email and password then select ‘sign in’. (This will be the email and password you created in step 1)
*Click ‘edit’ under Community Rewards. If prompted, enter personal information.*Select ‘My Account then select ‘Account Settings’ from drop down menu.
*Under Find Your Organization: Enter the NPO number or name of organization then select ‘search’. (84560)
*Under Select Your Organization: Select box next to your organization
*Then select ‘save changes’.
*If you have registered correctly, you should now see your organization information listed under ‘Community Rewards’ on your Account Summary page.
